Not sure what to book? Start with a routine foot care appointment
If you’re experiencing discomfort, struggling to care for your feet, or simply feel unsure which treatment you need, a routine foot care appointment is often the best place to start.
This appointment is designed to give your feet the care and attention they need in a calm, professional and reassuring setting. It can help with common concerns such as toenail trimming, thickened nails, hard skin, corns, calluses and general foot discomfort.
During your appointment, your feet will be assessed and treated with care, and you’ll be given simple advice on how to look after them between visits. If a more specific treatment or ongoing care is recommended, this can be discussed with you during the appointment.
You do not need to know exactly what treatment you need before booking. If you’re unsure, simply book a routine appointment and we’ll guide you from there.

Foot care and diabetes: when to seek professional advice

Common causes of hard skin

How often should you book routine foot care?
UpdatesJune 3, 2026

This is the most important section. It should immediately tell the visitor:
- what problem is solved
- who it is for
- where the service is available
- what action to take next
These images are free stock images from Pixabay – they can be replaced with supplied images if required.
All images have been compressed and sized for SEO and fast page speeds.
This section reflects the visitor’s situation back to them. This is where we show that we understand common concerns:
- painful feet
- thickened nails
- difficulty cutting toenails
- corns, calluses or hard skin
- embarrassment about foot condition
- mobility problems
- discomfort when walking
- needing regular maintenance
This sections comes early in the page because visitors will want to know whether the specific treatment they need is offered.
We use small bullet cards instead of a long paragraph.
Depending on the amount of information we have about each treatment, each card can include a link to a full details page.
A ‘book this treatment’ CTA (call to action) can also be added.
Very useful for booking-led sites as people are more likely to book when the process feels simple and predictable.
Because local intent matters so much, this should be prominent on the page.
Full details can be added to individual ‘shop’ pages (good for SEO), but for local SEO and conversion this section should highlight the areas served as well as physical locations.
The map is just for this demo – I would replace this with an area map graphic. Interactive maps can be saved for the contact page.
This is where we prove the visitor is in safe hands – this section should build trust without sounding too clinical or cold.
We use trust badges, qualifications, or ‘what clients can expect’ text to introduce Footprints on a more personal level.
This section is especially important if clients are elderly, nervous, embarrassed, or booking on behalf of a parent.
For care-based businesses, people often want to know who they are booking with.
This is a quick ‘hello’ – putting a face to the name. It doesn’t need to be long, but it should feel personal and reassuring.
These small sections proudly highlight Footprints unique selling points to build trust with the visitor.
This is a strong conversion-focused section for foot care because many visitors may not know what service they need.
The aim is to reduce hesitation by talking about the most common reasons people book.
The section ends with a summary and a strong call to action.
Social proof is important, especially for personal care services, so we keep this section close to the booking CTA, not buried at the bottom of the page.
The most useful testimonials will mention:
- friendliness
- comfort
- relief from pain
- confidence
- regular appointments
- help for elderly relatives
- ease of booking
Photos are ideal but not essential. We could use images of your work – ‘feet’ rather than faces.
By now, the visitor has seen services, locations, trust signals and the process, so we add a strong CTA block.
There are two distinct buttons – ‘Book’ or ‘Ask a Question’. For foot care, I would include both – some people will book immediately, others may need reassurance first.
FAQs are excellent for removing visitor objections.
They are also essential for SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), used by AI agents.
If there are too many for this section, we can also add a dedicated FAQs page.
We end with one clear CTA. Whatever the visitor needs, they can book it now – online.
For visitors that reach the end of the homepage, we display links to more content – the 3 latest posts from the News section (blog).
The blog helps with SEO and authority building, but on the homepage it shouldn’t distract from our main goal – booking.
Promoting further reading improves dwell time on the site, while the internal links help SEO. The article content is also good for AEO.
*On the live site these boxes will link to individual news articles.
